Weeks 1–2
Pain
Calm the irritation down.
Hands-on techniques calm the irritated tendon or nerve and take the edge off, starting your very first visit.
What We Treat
Your grip gives out opening a jar: tennis elbow, carpal tunnel, desk strain that flares by Wednesday. It's fixable, and it starts with a cause-first evaluation, not a guess.

Why It Happens
Elbow and wrist pain usually starts at the tendons that attach your forearm muscles to the bone, overloaded by repetitive gripping, typing, or twisting. Tennis elbow and golfer's elbow are the same story on opposite sides of the joint.
Carpal tunnel is often that same overload showing up as a compressed nerve at the wrist. Rest alone rarely fixes what repetitive loading caused. A cause-first evaluation finds which tissue is actually overloaded, so the fix targets the right one.
The Honest Truth
Your hands are how you make a living, fix things, hold your kids. Which is exactly why you keep telling yourself it's just a strain. Nobody regrets starting early. Every week, someone in our clinic says they regret waiting this long.
How We Fix It
Every plan has an endpoint. Here's what the four phases look like.
Weeks 1–2
Pain
Hands-on techniques calm the irritated tendon or nerve and take the edge off, starting your very first visit.
Weeks 2–6
Prime
Targeted mobility work restores the wrist and forearm motion that's been quietly guarded since this started.
Weeks 6–10
Perform
Progressive strengthening rebuilds the tendon capacity that was missing in the first place.
Weeks 10+
Prevent
Real-world gripping and lifting get tested under load before you're cleared to go all-in, that's the endpoint, not just another appointment.
Dr. Pepper and his staff were amazing with my rehabilitation as well as my wife's rehab. They are very knowledgeable and informative with the entire process during our time with them. I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of their services! Great job guys! Keep up the good work!

After: both of them informed and confident through the entire process
Questions, Answered
Usually not, and it's rarely the first step for elbow or wrist pain. We start with a hands-on evaluation to find what's actually driving your symptoms, and if imaging or nerve testing ever becomes genuinely necessary, we'll help you get it. You don't have to wait on a test to start feeling better.
In most cases, yes, and movement helps more than rest does. Total rest tends to make the tendon weaker, which sets up the next flare-up when you go back to using it. The key is dosing the right movement for you, which is exactly what a Doctor of PT sorts out at your evaluation, then progresses safely as you improve.
Most patients feel meaningful change within 4–6 visits. A full plan runs through all four phases, Pain, Prime, Perform, and Prevent, typically over 8–10 weeks, depending on how long you've been dealing with it. Either way, you get a plan with an endpoint: you'll always know which phase you're in and what's left.
