Talin was born and raised in west Texas. He grew up on his family cotton farm where he learned hard work and values. He started his formal education at Lubbock Christian University and completed a Bachelor’s in Exercise Science in 2007. He went on to Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center to complete his Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2010.
In 2016, he started a post-graduate Doctoral program at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center with an emphasis in clinical research. He completed a Doctorate of Science in 2019.
He has advanced training in manual therapy interventions earning his Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist certification. He is a Licensed Massage Therapist with over 16 years of experience as a massage therapist. He is Trigger Point Dry Needling trained.
When he is not working in the clinic, he enjoys spending time with his 3 children and his amazing wife.
Amanda grew up right here in Burleson, Texas. She went to Lubbock Christian University where she earned a degree in Early Childhood Education. She met and married Talin, and then taught pre-kindergarten for Levelland ISD while Talin went through Physical Therapy school. They moved back to Burleson when their first child was born, and have enjoyed being close to family since then. She has been home taking care of kids for the past 10 years, and is now working at DPPT as the Office Manager.
