Dr. Pepper Physical Therapy is committed to making our website usable by everyone, including people who use assistive technology such as screen readers, screen magnification, voice input, or keyboard-only navigation. We want every patient to be able to learn about our clinic, understand our services, and request an appointment without barriers.
Conformance Target
We work toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities and more usable for everyone.
Measures We've Taken
This site was built and reviewed with accessibility in mind. Measures include:
- Semantic HTML structure with landmarks, a logical heading order, and a skip-to-content link on every page
- Descriptive alternative text for meaningful images, and decorative images hidden from assistive technology
- Keyboard-operable navigation, forms, and interactive components, with visible focus indicators
- Form fields with programmatically associated labels and text-based error messages
- Support for the operating system's reduced-motion setting, and content that remains visible if scripts fail to load
- Color and contrast checked against WCAG AA minimums
We periodically review the site, including automated and manual testing, and correct issues as we find them. Accessibility is an ongoing effort, not a one-time project.
Known Limitations
Despite our best efforts, some parts of this site rely on third-party services whose code we do not control and cannot fully remediate:
- Google Reviews widget (Elfsight): the live review feed on our homepage is generated by a third-party script. If it is difficult to use with your assistive technology, a direct link to our full review list on Google is provided next to it.
- Google Maps embed: the interactive map on our Location and Contact pages is provided by Google. Our full address, phone number, and driving-direction link are always available as plain text and links next to the map.
- Patient Portal and bill-pay links: "Patient Portal" and "Pay My Bill" open third-party systems (myclinicportal.com and FluidPay) that we do not build or control.
If you encounter a barrier anywhere on this site, including in the areas above, please contact us using the information below and we'll help you complete what you need by phone in the meantime.
