Introducing… Dr. Talin Pepper

Introducing… Dr. Talin Pepper

July 28, 2023

I was born and raised in west Texas where I grew up on my family cotton farm. This was where I learned hard work and values. I started my formal education at Lubbock Christian University and completed a Bachelor’s in Exercise Science in 2007. I then went on to Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center to complete my Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2010.

In 2016, I started a post-graduate Doctoral program at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center with an emphasis in clinical research and earned my Doctorate of Science in 2019.

I have advanced training in manual therapy interventions earning my Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist designation. I am a Trigger Point Dry Needling trained therapist. Additionally, I am a Licensed Massage Therapist with over 16 years of experience.

I get to spend the work day with my wife, Amanda who grew up right here in Burleson, Texas. She went to Lubbock Christian University where she earned a degree in Early Childhood Education. She met and married Talin, and then taught pre-kindergarten for Levelland ISD while Talin went through Physical Therapy school. They moved back to Burleson when their first child was born, and have enjoyed being close to family since then. She has been home taking care of kids for the past 10 years, and is now working at DPPT as the Office Manager.

We look forward to getting to know more of you in our great Burleson community! If you have made it along this far, thank you so much for taking the time. I hope to continue writing and putting out helpful content for you to read about!
